The Rottweiler Club of Pakistan shall be conducting Breed Surveys at Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore on February 12, 20 and 28, respectively. All dogs (both sexes) above 18 months of age – and turning two years within the same calendar year – and having cleared the basic pre-qualification criterion, are eligible for the test.

The pre-qualification requirements are as follows:

1. The dog to have successfully passed the Endurance Test within the last six months
2. The dog to have successfully passed the Basic Obedience Test within the last six months
3. The condition of a DNA test will be applicable from November 01, 2010.

Endurance Test: The dog will need to run, at a gentle trot, a distance of 10 km, with a 15 minute break in-between. A special waiver has been granted to all dogs appearing for the test before November 01, 2010, so that they will need to cover a distance of 2.5 km, with a break of 10 minutes in-between. The respective Group Breed Wardens shall be conducting the Endurance Test at their respective centres, and owners may immediately contact them for appointments.

Basic Obedience Course: The dog will need to obey the following commands, on the leash:
Sit, Sit-Stay, Down, Down-Stay, Heel, Come-When-Called, Go-Forward, Fetch

A special waiver has been granted to all dogs appearing for the test before November 01, 2010, so that they will need to obey the following commands only:

Sit, Down, Come-When-Called

The respective Group Breed Wardens shall be conducting the Basic Obedience Test at their respective centres, and owners may immediately contact them for appointments.
